Win Streak Now at 6 for Ironhorse

Sacramento Ironhorse starter Mick Hammond was in fine form. He led his team to victory over the San Francisco Seals, 4-1. The Seals, at 22-27, have lost 4 straight games.
The Seals had been locked in a 1-1 tie with the Ironhorse going into the bottom of the fifth inning. That changed quickly when the 28-year old left fielder Bob McBride came to the plate. McBride hit a 2-run triple on a 2-2 cutter from San Francisco hurler Emory Burch. It was McBride's 2nd triple of the year.
"The bar for us is not a particular opponent, it's ourselves," said Sacramento manager RR Zayx.
