Silver Sox Lose 7-5 Decision to New Orleans
The Reno Silver Sox could not turn a fine performance from first baseman Culley Delaney into a win. Instead, the New Orleans Pelicans prevailed, 7-5. Delaney went 2-3 with a double and a walk, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once. Shane Ellis got the win, improving to 2-3. He worked 7 innings, giving up 2 runs on 4 hits, while striking out 2 and walking 1. The loss makes Reno 32-28.
