Seattle starter Luigi Henderson pitched well against the Homer Yetis at Sick's Stadium. The right-hander led his team to a win, 2-1, in 10 innings. The win went to Gabriel Trujillo in relief, making him now 5-1. Robert Rice took the loss for Homer. Seattle is sitting pretty at 41-19.

Batting in the bottom of the tenth, 28-year old left fielder Carlos Valenzuela had a real shot to win the game. Homer pitcher Robert Rice was determined not to let it happen. But with two outs, Valenzuela hit a run-scoring single. The Rainiers had a walk-off triumph.

"Luigi can pitch. He moves the ball around," said Seattle manager Ulrath Unclean.
