5-3 Loss to Rainiers Extends San Francisco Losing Streak
|
The Seattle Rainiers picked up a win at Sick's Stadium, taking down the San Francisco Seals, 5-3. Starting pitcher Tony Domínguez was a big reason why. The winning pitcher was Domínguez, now 5-3. He tossed 7.1 innings of 4-hit ball, while walking 1 and fanning 6. Seattle has now won 4 straight.
The Rainiers had to work out of trouble with one out in the top of the ninth. The score was 5-3, Seattle. But San Francisco, with a runner on 1st, had mounted a threat. Mike O'Neill dug in at the plate. But on a 3-1 fastball, O'Neill lined out.
