Millers Suffer 12-4 Loss to New Orleans
Héctor Gutiérrez was a major factor in the 12-4 New Orleans win over Minneapolis. The Pelicans center fielder went 3-5 with a double and 2 singles. He scored 3 times and drove in 2. Shane Ellis picked up the win in relief, improving his record to 2-1. Darwin McCoy was tagged with the loss. The second-place Pelicans sport a record of 48-30.

Orlando Castro helped out the New Orleans cause in the bottom of the second inning with a run-scoring single. For the game, the shortstop was 1-3 with a walk. He drove in 3 runs and scored once.

"Every manager loves to see an offensive outburst from his team," said New Orleans skipper Day Breaker.
