Thanks in large part to third baseman Otto Reed, the Reno Silver Sox beat the Homer Yetis, 6-4. Reed was 3 for 4 with a double and 2 singles. He scored 3 times. The win elevated the Silver Sox to 40-38.

Regardless of the outcome, those who came to Alamo Park for the Pioneer League contest enjoyed being there.
