Starting pitcher Nate Johnson pitched well enough to help the San Bernardino Stallions beat the San Francisco Seals, 8-6. San Bernardino reliever Phil Longchamps was the winner. His record is now 4-1. Luis Reyes took the loss. The win puts the Stallions at 32-46, while the Seals drop to 42-36.

Mason Griffin came through with a big-time hit for San Bernardino. The pinch hitter smacked a 2-run home run in the top of the seventh inning to give his team the lead, 4-2. It was his only hit, but it was clutch.

"We took advantage of our opportunities," Griffin told the San Bernardino Daily. "It's as simple as that."
