The Hollywood Stars defeated the Seattle Rainiers, 7-6, in Pacific Coast League action at Gilmore Field. Hollywood pitcher Jaime Porcayo had a standout performance. David Allen snagged the win in relief. The left-hander allowed 1 run on 3 hits over 1.2 innings. He's now 6-3 on the season. Eddie Holland, credited with the save, is now 2 for 2 in save opportunities.

Ramiro López hit a solo home run off Rubén Espinosa in the bottom of the eighth, which put the Stars ahead, 5-4. In addition to the homer, López had 2 doubles, while going 3 for 4.

"It never gets old," said López. "Winning, that is."

The win for the Stars lifted their record to 49-29.
