A 4-RBI performance from the 28-year old left fielder Carlos Ramos helped the Hollywood Stars beat the Los Angeles Angels, 9-4. Hollywood pitcher Cris Machado got the win, upping his record to 9-2. Jarred Nash got the loss. The Stars have an impressive 50-29 record.

With Hollywood trailing 2-1 in the top of the second, Ramos hit a curveball from Jarred Nash for a 2-run home run. It was his 4th home run of the season and put the Stars ahead, 3-2.

"The boys came out and just played their butts off," said Hollywood manager Scott B.
