Millers Win with Late Rally
The Minneapolis Millers topped the New Orleans Pelicans, 5-4, in 10 innings at Higgins Park. The game was highlighted by the performance of Minneapolis pitcher Bennett Murphy. Dan Rochefort claimed the win after being brought in from the bullpen. The right-hander allowed no runs on 3 hits in 2.1 innings. His record stands at 4-6. The 'W' lifts Minneapolis's record to 37-43.

Minneapolis used the timely hitting of José Santana to seize the win. The shortstop stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the tenth inning to put the Millers on top, 5-4. It was his only hit in 5 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

After the game, Minneapolis manager Bob T applauded the team's effort. "We put some good AB's together," he said.
