The Dallas Eagles racked up a win at Banditos Ballpark, bumping off the Las Vegas Strip, 5-4. Leroy Matthews, who started for Dallas, pitched effectively for his team. Ray Gui was credited with the save, his 17th in 24 tries.

Matthews allowed no runs on 1 hit over 7 innings for the Eagles. He walked 1 and struck out 7.

"Leroy did what Leroy does," said Dallas manager Cameron J.
