Las Vegas registered a win at Banditos Ballpark by beating the Austin Cowboys, 5-3. Pitcher Jesús García was one reason why the Strip triumphed. Las Vegas reliever Junior Rivera picked up the win, upping his record to 1-0. Rafael Concepción absorbed the loss. The last-place Strip lifted their record to 30-51.

Nick Pritchard, who was drafted in the 3rd round of the 2014 draft, helped out the Las Vegas cause in the bottom of the seventh inning with a run-scoring double. For the game, the pinch hitter was 1 for 1 with a double and a walk.

Las Vegas manager Charlie Donovan called it "a pretty good win."
