Spirited fans greeted the Hollywood Stars for their clash with the Sacramento Ironhorse.

The Sacramento Ironhorse weathered an outstanding game by Hollywood catcher Matt Oster to topple the Stars, 4-3. Oster was 2-4 with a home run and a walk. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. Donald Richter, who is a two-time All-Star, was the winning pitcher. Over 5.2 innings, he allowed 3 runs on 5 hits, with 2 walks and 3 strikeouts.

Who knows how it might've ended, had it not been for Clint Porter? The Sacramento center fielder had a 2-run single in the top of the second inning to put the Ironhorse on top, 2-0. For the game, Porter had 1 double and 2 singles in 5 at-bats.
