The Hollywood Stars beat the Sacramento Ironhorse, 7-5, at Ironhorse Stadium. José Cruz, in particular, was impressive. He hit 2 home runs, while scoring 3 runs and driving in 4. Jaime Porcayo was the winner. He's now 9-3. The loser was 33-year old right-handed pitcher Arthur Wise. The Ironhorse, now 45-37, have lost 5 in a row.

Marcos Garza, who led the CL in RBI with 115 in 2012, helped out the Hollywood cause in the top of the fifth inning with a 2-run single. For the game, the right fielder went 1-4 with a walk. He drove in 2 runs and scored once.
