Dallas right fielder Eric Ford was sensational. He belted 3 home runs. He drove in 6 runs and scored three times. But it wasn't enough to rally his team to a win. Reno beat the Eagles, 13-12. The Silver Sox, now 45-39, have won 4 in a row.

The clutch at-bat came in the bottom of the ninth inning, when Reno first baseman Culley Delaney, facing Ray Gui, had a run-scoring walk. It gave the Silver Sox the 13-12 win.

"We fed off the energy of the crowd at the end," Delaney said.
