Poole Slugs Beavers to 6-2 Win
|
The Portland Beavers cut down the San Diego Breakers by the score of 6-2, with the largest share of the credit going to center fielder Jim Poole. Poole hit 2 home runs, while adding 3 RBI and scoring twice for the Beavers. Arthur Bailey, who is tied for 9th in the CL with a 1.19 WHIP, was the winning pitcher.
