Las Vegas Strip starter Pedro González led his team to victory over the Salt Lake City Locusts, 5-2. The right-hander was locked-in. The Strip now have a record of 29-76.

González, the winner, is now 5-16, after putting the clamps on the Salt Lake City offense. In 9 innings of work, he gave up 2 runs on 6 hits, while collecting 8 Ks.
