Millers Come Up Short at Homer, 2-1
The Homer Yetis locked up a win at Bombers Ballpark, knocking off the Minneapolis Millers, 2-1. On the mound for Homer was right-hander Robert Rice. He played a major role in the triumph. Rice picked up the win for Homer, going 8 innings. He gave up 1 run on 8 hits. He now sports a record of 1-1. The Millers, 4-7, continue their sluggish start to the 2015 campaign.

The Yetis got a big at-bat from third baseman Bill Hicks. For the game, Hicks went 1 for 3 with a home run. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. In the bottom of the third, with a runner on 2nd, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 1st home run of the season gave Homer a 2-1 lead.
