Pelicans Pull Back to .500 With Win Over Cowboys
In a low-scoring contest between the New Orleans Pelicans and the Austin Cowboys, 35-year old right-handed pitcher Ronnie Gordon proved to be the difference. The New Orleans right-hander earned props for his performance in the 3-1 Pelicans win. The win gives New Orleans a season record of 55-55.

Joe James hit a 2-run double off Jon Martínez in the bottom of the seventh, which put the Pelicans in front, 2-1. In addition to the double, James had 1 single, while going 2 for 4.

"Ronnie doing his thing just hyped us all up," said New Orleans manager Day Breaker.
