Dallas got a terrific game from catcher António Lara. It wasn't enough, though, to prevent the team from falling to Reno, 7-4. Lara went 3 for 5 with a home run, a triple, and a double, while scoring 3 times. Joshua Santana earned the win to go to 1-3. He allowed 3 runs on 10 hits, with 1 walk and 5 strikeouts in 7.1 innings of work. The loss makes Dallas 53-59.

Reno won the game in part because of Steven Gardner. The center fielder ripped a run-scoring double in the top of the sixth inning to put the Silver Sox ahead, 2-1. For the game, Gardner had 1 double and 1 home run in 4 at-bats.
