Behind a solid performance from left fielder Raúl Ramos, the Las Vegas Strip defeated the Minneapolis Millers, 9-5. Ramos went 3 for 4 with 2 home runs for the Strip. The Millers fall to 5-8 and continue their uninspiring start to the 2016 season.

Las Vegas used the hitting of Jorge Mendoza to pick up the win. The right fielder clubbed a 2-run home run in the top of the third inning to put the Strip on top, 3-2. For the game, Mendoza had 1 home run and 1 single in 5 at-bats.

"We were able to get some things going offensively," said Ramos.
