Rosales goes 3-for-5, Denver Gets 7-6 Victory
|
A 4-RBI performance from right fielder Roberto Rosales led the Denver Grizzlies to a win over the Austin Cowboys, 7-6. Li-ping Kun closed it out for Denver, earning his 1st save. The Grizzlies are off to an underwhelming start as they look to defend their championship, notching only their 7th win in 16 games.
Rosales had a game-changing home run in the top of the seventh. On a 2-2 sinker from Sandy Kennedy, he banged a grand slam home run to center, giving the Grizzlies a 7-3 lead. It was the 4th home run of the year for Rosales.
"We got the victory," said Rosales. "That's all that matters at the end of the day."
