The Las Vegas Strip weathered an outstanding game by Minneapolis second baseman Hisashi Ine to topple the Millers, 5-4. Ine went 3-5 with a home run and a double, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. The winning pitcher was Jesús García. He tossed 96 pitches over 6 innings, allowing 4 runs on 10 hits. The Millers fall to 6-10 and continue their sputtering start to the 2016 season.

Las Vegas needed the clutch hitting of Clyde Brown to seal the deal. The second baseman swatted a solo home run in the top of the seventh inning to put the Strip on top, 5-4. For the game, Brown had 1 home run and 1 single in 3 at-bats.
