Salt Lake City left fielder Chris Gibson was instrumental in helping the Locusts triumph, 7-5, over the Homer Yetis. Gibson went 3 for 4 with a home run and 2 singles. He scored 2 times and drove in 2. Mark Cahill closed it out for Salt Lake City, earning his 4th save. The loss has the Yetis at 7-11.

With Salt Lake City trailing 1-0 in the bottom of the first, Gibson hit a fastball from Adrian Mattingly for a 2-run home run. It was his 5th home run of the season and put the Locusts ahead, 2-1.

"We're all about heart and hustle on this team. That's what wins ballgames," Gibson told the Salt Lake City Gazette.
