Rainiers Win, 11-3, Extend Streak to 4 Games
The Seattle Rainiers trumped the San Bernardino Stallions, 11-3, at Perris Hill Park. Seattle third baseman Daniel Fernández was terrific. He was 2-4 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 2 times and driving in 3. Seattle starter Martín Sánchez was credited with the win after throwing 112 pitches over 7.1 innings. His record now stands at 1-2. The Stallions fall to 7-9 and continue their wobbly start to the 2015 season.

With Seattle trailing 1-0 in the top of the fourth, Fernández hit a curveball from Gomes Taboada for a 3-run home run. It was his 5th home run of the season and put the Rainiers ahead, 3-1.

"It all comes down to competing and our guys love to compete," said Rainiers manager Ulrath Unclean.
