Díaz Excels, But Grizzlies Win
The Denver Grizzlies weathered an outstanding game by Homer first baseman José Díaz to topple the Yetis, 12-7. Díaz belted 2 home runs. He drove in 6 runs and scored twice. Homer falls to 0-3.

Jon Hunt had a big 2-run double for the Grizzlies in the bottom of the first inning. With Denver leading 1-0 and the bases loaded, he got a sinker from Barry Jennings, who led the PL in wins with 24 in 2010, and swatted a double to right-center. It was his 2nd double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Grizzlies ahead, 3-0.

"It was offense that won us the game," said winning manager Chris Needham.
