The San Bernardino Stallions downed the Los Angeles Angels, 3-0, at Wrigley Field. Stellar pitching by Nate Johnson had a lot to do with it. The right-hander handcuffed his opponent all game. The loss drops the Los Angeles record to a disappointing 10-13.

Who knows how it might've ended, had it not been for Alonso Maldonado? The San Bernardino shortstop had a run-scoring single in the top of the sixth inning to put the Stallions on top, 1-0. For the game, Maldonado had 1 double and 1 single in 3 at-bats.
