Locusts Use Late Rally to Win
The Salt Lake City Locusts beat the Minneapolis Millers, 8-4, at Derks Field. Juan Álvarez, in particular, was impressive. He was 3-5 with a home run and a triple, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once. The Millers fall to 8-16.

Had Glenn Anderson not delivered a key base hit in the bottom of the eighth, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and a runner on 2nd, Anderson hit a run-scoring double. That made the score 5-4, in favor of the Locusts.

"I just try to go out and give it 100 percent every game," Álvarez told a local reporter after the game. "That's my mantra, and like today, it will pay off more often than not."
