Alberto Barajas, who finished 5th in the CL in ERA with 2.93 in 2014, was terrific for the Long Beach Ports in his team's 4-0 triumph over the Hollywood Stars. His performance earned Barajas rave reviews. Barajas, the winner, moves to 1-0. He threw 5.2 innings of 3-hit ball, while fanning 5 and giving up 4 walks. The win gives Long Beach a record of 2-1.

Who knows how it might've ended, had it not been for Bob O'Neal? The Long Beach first baseman had a run-scoring double in the top of the third inning to put the Ports on top, 2-0. For the game, O'Neal had 1 double and 1 single in 4 at-bats.
