Perris Hill Park was the site of a competitive game between the San Bernardino Stallions and Hollywood Stars.

In a tight tilt between the Hollywood Stars and the San Bernardino Stallions, David Allen was the deciding factor. The Hollywood left-hander spearheaded the 2-0 win. Jerry Álvarez picked up the save, his 5th.

Allen, a native of Columbus, Ohio, was dealing all game. He kept San Bernardino hitters off-balance, while giving the Stars 7.2 quality innings. Allen threw 102 pitches, allowing 4 hits and striking out 7.

Allen attributed the win to "concerted effort and focus."

The Stallions drop to 13-15 and continue their inconsistent start to the 2016 season.
