Martínez Cracks 5 Hits
All game long, El Paso's Daniel Martínez was rattling the walls at Aristocrats Ballpark and banging out base hits against the Duluth Dukes. When the dust finally settled on the diamond, he had a 5-hit day and the Diablos had a win, 7-0.

Speaking with reporters after his standout performance, the 23-year-old center fielder said, "Get 5 hits, win a ballgame, it's nice. I could get used to this."

Daniel Martínez singled in the 1st, doubled in the 3rd, hit a two-run home run off Bobby Hunt in the 4th, singled in the 6th and singled in the 8th.

This year, Martínez is batting .300 with 18 home runs.
