Stallions Topple Ports with Late Rally
San Bernardino beat Long Beach at Perris Hill Park, eking out a 6-5 win. The triumph was primarily due to second baseman Mason Griffin. He went 2 for 2 with a double and 2 walks. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. At 15-21, the Stallions find themselves in 5th place in the Pacific Coast League South.

San Bernardino took advantage of an error in the bottom of the eighth inning. The game was tied, 5-5, when Matt Ball hit a run-scoring single that was misplayed. It put the Stallions in front, 6-5.

Ball told the San Bernardino Observer: "Sometimes the big stage is not big enough for me."
