The New Orleans Pelicans wiggled past the Las Vegas Strip, 3-2, at Higgins Park. The win was highlighted by the performance of New Orleans pitcher Sergio Estrada. The current losing streak for Las Vegas has reached 4 games.

The defining moment came in the bottom of the 11th for New Orleans. That's when Bobby Hoover hit a run-scoring double off 31-year old right-handed pitcher John Hodges to win the game. The home crowd went wild.

"Great to get the crowd on its feet," Hoover said.
