Luis Reyes pitched a dandy of a game to help the San Francisco Seals beat the San Jose Owls, 3-1. The winning pitcher was Reyes, now 3-1. He tossed 7.1 innings of 4-hit ball, while walking 2 and fanning 6. Earning his 2nd save for San Francisco was Tyler Patterson.

San Francisco took control in the bottom of the sixth. With one out and runners on 1st and 2nd, Raúl Tamayo hit a run-scoring single to make it 2-1, Seals.

"Luis had good stuff. When he did get into a compromising count, he made the most of it," said San Francisco manager Jamming Econo.

San Jose has now lost 4 consecutive games.
