Lyons Delivers Walk-Off Win for Fireballs
Homer got a big-time effort from pitcher Michael Crawford, but it wasn't enough to keep the Phoenix Fireballs from winning the game, 5-3. Crawford threw 7.0 innings of 5-hit ball for the losing team. The win gives Phoenix a season record of 24-18.

Phoenix got a knockout punch from Kevin Lyons. The center fielder hammered a grand slam home run in the bottom of the ninth inning to win the game. It might've been his only hit, but it decided the outcome.

"We fed off the energy of the crowd at the end," Lyons said.
