The 7-6 Las Vegas win over Austin was due largely to Gabriel Galló. The Strip shortstop was 2-4 with a home run and a walk, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. The save was credited to Charles Chandler, his 1st. With the win, Las Vegas elevates its record to 3-2.

The game was all tied up in the top of the ninth, until Galló delivered big-time for Las Vegas, stroking a dramatic run-scoring single off Rod Lee. The game-changing hit put the Strip on top, 7-6.

"I give credit to my teammates for this win. We got it done," Galló told the Las Vegas Observer.
