Big Day for Ball as Stallions Down Acorns, 10-7
Behind a fine performance from Matt Ball, the San Bernardino Stallions knocked off the Oakland Acorns, 10-7. Ball went 3-4 with a home run and 2 singles, while scoring 3 and driving in 4 for the Stallions. The Stallions, at 16-29, sit in last place in the Pacific Coast League South.

Ball contributed a big hit, a grand slam home run, for San Bernardino in the bottom of the third. With his team trailing 2-0, Ball took a slider from Manuel Torres and stroked the home run to left. His 8th home run of the season allowed the Stallions to leap in front, 4-2.

"Another day, another win. On to the next one," Ball told the San Bernardino Observer.
