Eager fans turned out for a matchup between the Homer Yetis and New Orleans Pelicans.

Néstor Cardoza, who is tied for 2nd in the PL in complete games with 1, propelled his team to victory over the New Orleans Pelicans. The final score was 6-3, Homer. Roy Roberts closed it out for Homer, earning his 15th save.

Chad Floyd had a big 3-run home run for the Yetis in the bottom of the second inning. With Homer leading 1-0 and runners on 1st and 2nd, he got a splitter from Ronnie Gordon, who is tied for 6th in the PL with a 8.6 K/9 rate, and swatted a home run to right. It was his 2nd home run of the season, and more importantly, it put the Yetis ahead, 4-0.

"It felt good to put the barrel on the ball," said Floyd.
