The San Francisco Seals defeated the Mexico City Aztecs, 9-7, in Pacific Coast League action at Ohlone Park. Cory Black pulled his weight. The 19-year veteran went 2 for 4 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 3. San Francisco reliever Tyler Patterson picked up the win, upping his record to 2-0. Brian Forryan took the loss. Freddy Mercado earned save number 2 this season.

San Francisco took the lead, 9-7, on Rob Knight's 3rd home run of the season. The 2-run home run came off Mexico City pitcher Brian Forryan in the bottom of the eighth.

"Winning is all that really matters and we got it done today," Black told the San Francisco Today.

With the win, San Francisco climbs to 5-0.
