The Oakland Acorns weathered a fine game by San Francisco second baseman Reggie Williamson to upend the Seals, 6-5, at Ohlone Park. Williamson went 3-4 with a double and 2 singles. Oakland reliever Ray Foster picked up the win, upping his record to 5-3. Zach Horne took the loss. Bob Brown was credited with the save for Oakland, his 3rd of the season.

Oakland used a timely hit from Salvador Colón to get the win. The pinch hitter stroked a run-scoring double in the top of the eighth inning to put the Acorns ahead, 6-5. It was his only hit in 1 at-bat, but it made an impact.

"We'll put this win in our pocket and go after the next one," said Colón.

The Oakland winning streak has reached 3 games.
