Floyd Hits 2 home runs in Pelicans Win
No one was more impactful than Noel Floyd in the 8-4 New Orleans win over Sacramento. Floyd, who finished 5th in the PL in wins above replacement with 6.8 in 2010, went 3 for 5 with 2 home runs, while adding 5 RBI and scoring twice. The win for the Pelicans lifted their record to 76-45.

With New Orleans leading 3-2 in the top of the fifth, Floyd hit a fastball from Mick Hammond for a 2-run home run. It was his 29th home run of the season and put the Pelicans ahead, 5-2.

"I'm just looking for a good pitch that I can hit well," said Floyd. "And not try to do too much."
