Pelicans Walk It Off for 62nd Win of Season
Sergio Estrada pitched a near no-hitter in leading New Orleans to a 2-1 triumph over the Reno Silver Sox. New Orleans reliever Dan Williams snagged the win, upping his record to 6-7. Leonard Burton shouldered the loss. The win puts New Orleans at 62-61 this season.

The decisive blow was delivered by Scott Peck in the bottom of the ninth when he hit a run-scoring double off two-time All-Star Leonard Burton to win the game for New Orleans. The home crowd went nuts.

"This place sure got loud," said Day Breaker, the New Orleans manager.
