Homer had no answer for Minneapolis Millers starter Ernesto Rivera, who flummoxed Yetis hitters as the Millers cruised to victory, 6-0. At 57-67, the Millers are currently 5th in the Pioneer League North.

Chris Ruhl had a big 2-run double for the Millers in the top of the sixth inning. With Minneapolis leading 2-0 and the bases loaded, he got a fastball from fireballing right-hander Nick Longoria and swatted a double to left-center. It was his 19th double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Millers ahead, 4-0.

"Not too many highlights on our side," said losing manager Drew Johnson.
