The Portland Beavers converted a terrific effort from starter Arthur Bailey into a win over the San Francisco Seals at Ohlone Park. The Beavers won the game by a final score of 2-0. Scott Witt notched his 25th save in 26 chances. The second-place Beavers have won 4 in a row.

Bailey gave Portland a solid start. The right-hander allowed no runs on 2 hits over 7.1 innings.

"I'm just trying to make sure I'm focused for each and every pitch," said Bailey.
