Kansas City Jacks starter Ken Roy found his groove in his team's 5-2 win over the Minneapolis Millers. Dennis Armstrong closed the door for Kansas City, picking up his 1st save of the year. Kansas City has now won 4 straight, while the Millers have lost 3 in a row.

There was more than one reason the Jacks beat the Millers, but Roy's big at-bat in the bottom of the fourth was an important factor. He staked his team to a 2-1 lead when he hit a run-scoring single.

"Ken's stuff looked really, really crisp," said Marcus Jelks, the Jacks manager.
