David Bright, who is tied for 6th in the PL in wins with 12, imposed his will on the Yetis from the get-go. Relying mainly on his fastball, the right-hander spearheaded the 4-0 Reno triumph. Reno is now 65-66.

Reno took a 2-0 lead on Manuel Garza's 46th double of the season. The run-scoring double, which Garza hit in the top of the eighth, left Homer pitcher Robert Rice visibly frustrated.

"David was able to locate to both sides, up and down," said Reno manager Zach Ames.
