Denver pitcher Raúl Ángel did his part in helping his team defeat the Reno Silver Sox, 6-2. The opposition could never get too much going against the right-hander. The first-place Grizzlies, at 83-49, lead the Pioneer League North by 7 games.

Ángel delivered a quality start for Denver. The 5-foot-10 right-hander allowed no earned runs on 1 hit over 6.2 innings of work.
