Sacramento Ironhorse starter Dave Sackett found his groove in his team's 4-1 win over the Oakland Acorns. With the victory, the Ironhorse upped their record to 67-63.
Sackett dominated for Sacramento, raising his record to 8-7. Oakland hitters had few good at-bats against the left-hander, who scattered 1 hit over 9 innings while striking out 8.
