López Delivers Walk-Off Win for Stars
The Hollywood Stars, with some walk-off drama, delighted their fans at Gilmore Field.

In a tight tilt between the Hollywood Stars and the San Jose Owls, Tony Soto was the deciding factor. The Hollywood right-hander spearheaded the 2-1 win. The Stars lead the Pacific Coast League South by 17 games.

The clutch at-bat came in the bottom of the ninth inning, when Hollywood center fielder Ramiro López, facing David Gómez, had a run-scoring sacrifice fly. It gave the Stars the 2-1 win.

López said the team appreciates the support from the fans. "I'm glad we could reward them with a good win," he said after the game.
