Locusts Lose at Home, 6-1
|
Minneapolis catcher David Tobías played a vital role in his team's 6-1 conquest of Salt Lake City. He was 2 for 4 with a home run. He drove in 4 runs and scored once for Minneapolis. The Minneapolis win streak is now 3 games.
Tobías had a game-changing home run in the top of the seventh. On a 1-2 fastball from Augusto Villarreal, he banged a 3-run home run to left, giving the Millers a 4-1 lead. It was the 12th home run of the year for Tobías.
Said losing manager Nate McGinty: "The list goes on and on of things we just flat out didn't do."
