The Hollywood Stars picked up a win at Gilmore Field, taking down the San Bernardino Stallions, 5-4. Starting pitcher Cris Machado was a big reason why. Greg Smith picked up the win in relief. His record improves to 2-3. Jason Gore suffered the loss. Hollywood has run its win streak to 4 consecutive.

Roy Hopkins was 1-4 with a double for Hollywood. The two-time All-Star had a key at-bat in the bottom of the eighth. With one out and the bases loaded, he broke a 4-4 tie with a run-scoring sacrifice fly off Jason Gore. It was his 55th RBI of the season.
