|
The Salt Lake City Locusts went down to defeat to Alex Dávila and his Kansas City teammates. The final score was 3-1, in favor of the Jacks. Kansas City raised its record to 79-58 with the win.
The Jacks got a big at-bat from first baseman Dan Mitchell. For the game, Mitchell was 1 for 3 with a home run, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. In the bottom of the second, with a runner on 1st, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 25th home run of the season gave Kansas City a 2-0 lead.
"Alex was hitting his spots and everything had life," said Kansas City manager Marcus Jelks.
